Has been Dean of the College of the Bible, and is present Head of the Department of Greek and Latin. Author of a treatise The Value of Greek for Christian Workers , which was previously read at a meeting of the State Teachers of Latin and Greek and had also been requested read before the National Convention of Eta Sigma Phi. Member of Philological Association of America, and the Des Moines Chapter of the Archaelogical Institute of America, of which he has been chairman several times.
