Hind wheel broke, and axle draggin New to Downey this yeor is Mr. Thomas Fleming, who replaced Mr. Eugene Riggs as plant engineer in February. Mr. Fleming is in charge of all non-certificated employes, custodians and maintenance work- ers who keep the school running smoothly. Also under the jurisdiction of Mr. Fleming are the bus drivers. Mr. W. F. McEuen, a veteran of many years experience at Downey, holds the office of head of bus drivers, and supervises scheduling ofthe bus transportation. Keeping the wheels running smooth- ly, Mrs. Vola Barb as supervisor has such varied tasks as keeping accounts buying supplies, and supervising cook- ing, serving, and clean-up.
