Mrs. Cubbage's work does not stop with the closing of school. It is with extreme pleasure that we the staff dedi- cate the 1961 edition of the Doverian to Mrs. Myrtle Cubbage. Over the years Mrs. Cubbage has been a combination of mother, stern disciplinarian, confidant, and teacher to hundreds of students. Mrs. Cubbageis not an ordinary person in the eyes ofher students. Though she tries, often successfully, to be extremely firm with those in her classes, her words are softened by the inner sparkle which comes through in her expressions and glances. There are few who, having known Mrs. Cubbage, will forget her; we hope that this small honor will give her something to remember us by. Right - Students often talk over their problems with her. Mrs. Cubbage checks papers as the class takes a test.
