LOYD BERRY, PRINCIPAL 'Prwcifeal' ’TJteMag.e Theodore Roosevelt, one of our greatest presidents, stated, That for a man to become a great man, he must be a pretty good boy. A philosopher, I am told, was asked what he thought boys and girls should be taught. He replied simply, Those things which they will use when they become men and women. Your school has attempted to meet these responsibilities, in academic subjects, moral aptitudes, and a development of the highest quality of sportsmanship. We are proud of the accomplishment of our students, but we are not deceived that this is the end; it is only the begin- ning of greater problems which will confront them tomorrow. May we use our aptitudes, moral character, academic abil- ities, and attitudes of good sportsmanship to successfully solve our problems as they approach us daily.
