After surviving hours of practice, from the noon- time August heat to October early morning frosts, the band marched its way to the top. But with our uni- maginable determination and hard work, the band pulled to- gether and became one of the most competitive bands in the state. To this he added, The band's spirit this year was five miles above what it has been in the past. After the season was over, I felt very proud and re- spected every band member who put time and effort into making this the closest band I have ever seen.
