Wpn-x ,.., h 'sm' J -.NXNH ' Q .YAY V xg Getting Better ll The Time The day to day experience of be- ing a DCHS student was no fun for most of us, but it did get better as the year progressed. Because the school's enrollment increased by 92 people, to a total of 1664, the halls became more crowded, and the nor- mally cramped quarters became even worse. This situation Worked itself out in the long run, as students found alternate routes to their classes. Although the school was uncom- fortable in this respect, it became re- laxed in its view of the dress code. For the first time at DCHS, shorts were allowed to be worn to classes. This made fall and spring more bear- able for students in hot classrooms. The Student Council assumed more of a role in improving the learning atmosphere than in the past. It provided a valuable medium for students to communicate with the administration.
