The Honor Councils Promote Character The Honor Councils in lioth the upper and middle schools worked to uphold the reputation of the schools honor code. Several changes were made to help enforce the honor code. One such change was requiring each student to write the full pledge on each major test and on all small quizzes. The Honor Councils also helped to conduct class elections. The upper school Honor Council was led by President - Steve Iackson, Vice-President Lane Iackson, and Secretary f Patti Reaves, and Sponsor Mrs. Wingo. Memorable Moments Recorded by Staff The Gauntlet Staff put in many long hours to produce a book which everyone could enjoy and which would reveal the highlights of 1982. Led by Editor Lane jackson and Sponsor Anita Boggs, they completed a book they hope will be enjoyed by all. Due to their hard vvork at raising more money, the Gauntlet Staff was able to add some special features to their book this year. These features include color Senior portraits, eight more pages, a better quality paper, and a new cover. They hope you en- joy it! With Editor Elizabeth Tyler and Co-Editor Annie Walton's creativeness they added the Preppie page, the letter to the editor, and many more articles and humorous features. The Lure, Donoho's literary magazine, displays our creative self-expression through poetry, prose, and artwork at its peak. The editor of the Lure was Tony Daniel with Mrs. Barker as the advisor.
