The Donoho Falcons Soar to Victory The Varsity Football team got off to a slow start but ended the year successfully. The team won three of their last ten games. Their first big win was the Homecoming game against Spring Garden. It was a wonderful start for their winn- ing streak. ASD was also a vic- tim of the power of the mighty Falcons. This year was a crucial one in the White Plains game. If White Plains had won this would have been their third consecutive year to have beaten the Falcons, and the Wildcats would have gained lifetime possession of the famous Gold Football. Fortnately, the spirit of the Donoho School was high and the large crowd at the game helped to pull the powerful Falcon team to a victory over the Wildcats. The despair of the losing season was rushed aside and Senior. Falcon's last year proved to one that they could truly be proud of. The Falcon team was lead by Quarterback Mike Sexton, Captains Stuart Smith and lim Finley, and Coach Cliff Grubbs.
