The electronics department at Don Bosco aims to train its students to become elec- tronic technicians Who could in time become valuable aids to the engineer in research. The many branches of modern electronics are introduced to the student Who applies theory directly in Well-equipped labs. He is given insight into circuit and components operation. Freshmen learn complete devel- opment of DC Circuit, magnet- ism, and AC fundamentals. Sophomores master basic elec- tronics phenomena and an in- tensive study in rectifiers, amplifiers, oscillators and their circuits. juniors apply knowledge of basic circuits to transmitters and re- ceivers. Emphasis is on com- munication technology.
