l HEVEREND MOTHER M. DOROTHY, O.P. Principal Dear Graduates: May the blessing of the Sacred Heart be always with you! You have reached the day so long waited for-your graduation day. Soon you will leave Dominican Commercial High School where for four years you have studied under the care and guidance of your devoted teachers. Your teachers have impressed upon you that only the foundation has been laid, you yourself must complete the structure. Your instructions have been directed so as to fit you for complete living, socially, morally and intellectually. You must assume new responsibilities. You should not fear them, for you have been taught how to meet these responsibilities with a cheerful heart. You have been trained not only to hold your place in the business world but also the one thing necessary, the salvation of your immortal soul. May you profit by the instructions you have received and may you always be true clients of the Sacred Heart. Because your yearbook is dedicated to the Sacred Heart, I have chosen an invocation from the Litany of the Sacred Heart, namely: Heart of jesus full of Goodness and Lovef, to be a spiritual weapon for the days that lie ahead. May you imitate the goodness of the Heart of jesus in all your actions, and may the love of the Sacred Heart be your comfort and strength in the days of trial. May you ever be faithful to the Sacred Heart and may that Heart full of Goodness and Love be your inspiration throughout life and your comfort at death. God bless you and keep you close to His Sacred Heart! Sincerely in the Sacred Heart, 'HZa':J.iW7n Zwfccy, av?
