Glee Clubs Direct Christmas Concert AN you imagine the Senior girls appearing at the Christmas Concertinthe form of angels, or the Senior boys settling down to anything other than sports ? This year the members of the Senior Choral groups have extended their field of endeavor far beyond the point of singing for their own and others' pleasure. Not onlyhave they sung before such groups as the Rotary Club, P.T.A., the D.A.R. and participated in the school concerts, but they also have directed most of the musicalgroups, in- cluding orchestra, chorus, eighth grade choir, and the various quartets and Glee Clubs that made up the Christmas program. The student directors spent many long hours working with the organizations to which they were assignedg explaining and rehearsing their own in- terpretations of each selection, striving to achieve the balance and precision, the modulations and tonal qualities of a successful performance. This diversification of musical experience seems to merit special attention since the oppor- tunity of singing and directing that has been gained this year from membership in the Glee Club and quartet is unique in the history of the Dolgeville Music Department. Maloreftes THEIR DREAMS CAME TRUE Cwo be an official D.c.s. majorette is an achieve ment many girls dream of, but few realize. These high stepping girls were the ones whose dreams came true in D.C.fS. this year. With Helen Lee as their leader, our majorettes have made a fine showing, whether marching in front of our smartly uniformed band or giving an exhibition of twirl- ing at concerts. Throughout the year, these girls have ng'- added greatly to the sparkle Row 1: A. Calderazzo, A. Alling, O. Ackles, E. Jaroskenski. and eye appeal of our band. Row Z: R. Stewart, S. Goodrich, V.
