Press Club HE Press Club has been the reporter of school news for Dolgevllle Central School for many years In 1943 a contest was conducted for a name for nts pubhcatlon and Chlt Chatter subm1tted by Mary Mclnms was chosen Chrt Chatter has gone through varxous stages of development Volume I November 1943 was a seasonal edxtxon of several sheets The next year xt became a monthly edxtron and ln 1947 a weekly paper In 1951 rt was pubhshed bl weekly wlth specxal Thanksgwmg Chrrstmas and Semor ed1t1ons added The staff lS composed of semors and Jumors alded by two advlsors and at mld year sophomores are selected to replace the semors leavlng nn June Recently a medal has been glven to the Semor who has done outstanding work for the club Sue Youker Wrmfred Houser Helen Kopp and Chuck Welnschrelder havmg been the reclplents of these thus far The staff feel that the opportumty offered them to co operate wlth thexr fellow members and to contact s1m1lar groups m other schools IS a valuable experlence w 'f tif' f C!
