Q-?1'TL- HE Blue Devils went right to work in the first game of the 1950 baseball season, and kept on moving until they were handed their first defeat by the Giants of St. Iohnsville, 8-6. The Bynonmen looked as though they might be out of the running for the league title when they lost the following game also. At this point, Dolgeville was in second place in the M.M.V.I. League, with 4 -E a standing of two and two, while St. Mary's of Little Falls was in first place 333 ,mx with four wins and no losses. However, the Blue Devils came back to chalk up S YQ, a win over the league leaders, thereby showing the rest of the league that they N if W were not done yet. 5 'ttyl From there in, Dolgeville had to win all the remaining games and had to - beat St. Mary's for the last one in order to win the championship.
