The members of Doherty's Archeon are once again active and involved. They've played the lead role in all Spartan activities. Without Student Council Committees, Doherty activities would come to a complete stand still. There are seven energetic com- mittees which include Morale, Publicity, Assemblies, Student Relations, Treasury, Records and Social. Morale, headed by Karen Ricketts has done an outstanding job of boosting the spirit of Doherty High School. Pep ralliers have increased Spartan spirit, pride and attendance at extracurricular activities. Cherrijacobs and Assemblies have worked hard in preparation for presenting formal assemblies including the Queen's assem- blies. This hard work has paid off because Doherty has provided entertaining assemblies all year. Who at Doherty has not enjoyed dancing with that special someone at one ofthe many dances sponsored by the Social Committee? Headed by Tammy Shuck, This committee has entertained the student body through lively music, extravagant decorations, and colorful lights at its many dances. Attracting attention to various Spartan activities are the infor- mative posters painted by the Publicity Committee lead by Lori Stamps. The halls are often lined by posters and signs keeping the student body and faculty aware of all school activities. Missie Miskel, Michelle DeLong and their committees keep things running smoothly in Student Council, Treasury keeps the financial afairs in order, while Records keeps council minutes. Susan Cohen, guiding Student Relations, helps keep the student body and faculty united. Keeping communication open be- tween the students and faculty while working to solve various student problems are Student Relations main goals. These seven important committees put their hard work, ambi- tion and determination into building a stronger student body at D.H.S. Committee Heads? Missie Miskel, Tammy Shuck, Lori Stamps, Karen Ricketts, Michelle D91-Ong, and Chfffl Jacobs. Not pictured: Susan Cohen. Tammy Shuck guided the Social Committee into working long and hard to plan activities for the student body to participate in.
