The concert and symphonic bands have had four concerts this year and both participated in large group festi- vals in the spring. During marching season, the band played in the Denver Bronco half time with a superior per- formance. Concert and symphonic band during marching season prac- ticed forth and fifth period together. After marching season concert band practiced forth and symphonic prac- ticed fifth period. There are 124 out- standing concert and symphonic band members with the addition of 22 flags during the marching season. Many types of music are performed throughout the year, ranging from classical to pop music. Mr. Kusk, the band director, gives the students the opportunity to study and perform music from all periods of time, and help the students reach their potential. Both bands have been really super in '79 and '80. w n
