Who was chosen as the Most Likely to Succeed, or the Best Dressed? Which jocks made Most Athletic? Then, who were the absolute Best Friends? Which two blushing sweethearts were called the Best Couple? Voted in by fellow Senior Class- mates, each category had a smiling winner. After three years of yelling, smiling, joking, practicing, studying and working, this is their recognition. Congratulations to the most noticed Seniors of 1979-80. You kept Doherty going. 5 1? h ' F I Selected as Most Likely to Succeed were Karen Ricketts and Kelly Cook. Both seemed to be involved in just about anything that came up. Do you remember stopping at the gas station for gas? You were probably there three times a week. It was a never ending battle. You would just get your check cashed and it was all gone after a couple of gallons. The best thing to do was to shop around for the cheapest gas. By the time you finished looking you were out of gas and had to stop at the most expensive. Convenience stores seemed the cheapest but their gas was also the cheapest kind. After it killed your engine you had to pay for one of those also. No more cruising Nevada, no more spur of the moment skiing trips, and short distance dates. The life of a teenager is the pits. What is a car without gas! Ayatollah! I wonder what your tan line looks like. The Iran crisis had been the ridicule of 1980. 50 American people were held hos- rage. This year could possibly be the year of the draft. Women would have to go also. Not since the early seventies would the draft be re- vived. The terror of Iran will be history in a couple of decades, but right now we have to live with it. This coming fall, this senior class will have the chance to vote. This is a very important decision to make but very few people take it seriously. Let's take a look at the candidates. There is always President Carter. At least his brother makes good beer. Ronald Reagan. Let's face it. He couldn't even act well. Sen. Brown from Calif. At least he has good taste in music. As you can see, there isn't a whole lot to choose from. Therefore, I suggest my vote for Mr. Bill. Owooo! Seniors 199

This year's Best Dressed were Rhonda Sink and Sam Mendoza fLeftJ. Both stayed in tune with the latest styles, in clothes and everything else too. This kind of title can't be earned in just one year. It took three years of planning wardrobes to achieve the 'just stepped off of a magazine cover look. Well, when you've got it, you've got it! Lisa Kutsner and Eric Rappold had the honor of being selected Best Couple fBelowj. For three years they held hand in the hall, gave each other wishy-washy smiles, made google'eyes between classes, and played kissy-face behind the lockers. It sure took a lot of hard work to earn this recognition, Dom Demicco and Lee Kelly were chosen as the Best Male Friends, while Kim Clawson and Kim Wall received Best Female Friends CBot' tomb. We never saw one without seeing the other not far behind. In many cases, this could truly be called Double Trouble!!! Seniors 201 Jiri.,
