S 6'I11.0I'I.l'll9.,.,., You know you have it when: 1. 2 5 4 5 6 You're scheduled for all of the easy classes, and get your beauty rest during them. After arriving fifteen minutes late to class you not only grin and bear it, but actually make an entrance! v All sophomores are really just children. You absolutely refuse to go to school with- out washing your hair first. . Seventh period is your free, so you can leave early. No way is Mom going to drop you off in the morning! 196 Senior Science is baffled by an extremely con- tagious condition. No-one escapes! Face it you ll get it sooner or later. As far as limited knowledge of this infection goes there is only one cure' graduation. Com- mon symptoms follow patterns according to individuals but all are obviously relat- ed. It begins as slowly as changing sea- sons do. You find it extra difficult to wake up. Classes drag. Nothing surprises you. And if anything does you still dont care. These occurances can begin as early as the sophomore year, or as late as mid- semester Senior blues.just console your- self the knowledge that you arent the only onesuffering from a dose of Sen- ioritis! fa, ii I y r I .K You know you have it when: 1. Five study centers are really no problem at all, a trash can is within close proximity. 4. Finally! A crowded, cramped, messy locker in t Red Section! Maybe even three or four of the fone for each classj. 5. Studying for tests is absolutely obsolete. W can concentrate during Saturday Nite Live? 6. Home is a dirty word.

'-I 'J' rn oo O CD 198 Seniors The styles today change as fast as the weather does. From the constant scene of Levi originals to the latest in cosmopoli- tan fashions. Levi's and velour shirts seemed to be a perfect pair. With the addition of tennis shoes the outfit was Complete. Girls went for the soft, feminine look which melted each man's heart. The pleated skirt, socks and low-heeled shoes made an excellent example. Skirts made the big show, along with the ever-so- popular blazer. The movie 10 with Bo Derek brought out a new style in hair. Not everyone had as many braids as she did, but a few added a difference. Shorter hair for guys has been in for a few years. The clean Cut look always gets more votes. With the birth of disco, sparkles and shines appeared. It seemed the more you could flash on the floor the more dances you had. It's a wonder there weren't more broken legs dancing on those toothpick- like shoes. Between the return of past styles and inventions of new ones, no one really knows where fashion will go. But this past year at Doherty the students showed that they can be fashionable, even if it isn't New York.
