DAVID TRENT vlce Presldent JANE ALDERSON Secretary SUSAN LAUBER, Treasurer MARILYN HOLT Student Councll Representatlve MISS ROMINE Head Sponsor Hlstory The Class of 59 began their lourney through the halls of learning of D C S H S In the fall of 1956 by electing Ronnie Shelor to be their class president Other officers elected at this time were Jim Jennings, Vice President, Ramona Kllllngsworth Secretary Treasurer and Marilyn Stanton Student Council Representative On October 16, they entertained a large audience with the Sophomore One Act Plays Ghost Hunter Star Baby Sisters, and He Troupes To Conquer The Junior year the class began by electing their class officers Jim Jennings President Ronnie Shelor Vice President, Marilyn Stanton Secretary, Sondra Holman Treasurer and Jane Alderson, Student Council Representative. They worked hard on the Floor Show which had the theme, Around the World in Eighty Days. On January 14, they entertained a large audience with the highly dramatic play Dino. On Demon Day the class gallantly tried to capture the Brown Jug, but the Seniors ovellielmed them with their power and won. A climax to the year came with the Junior Senior Banquet and Prom which had the theme of The Wizard of Oz. The Class of '59 elected Ray Reicheborn to lead them through the final year. The other officers elected were David Trent, Vice-President, Jane Alderson, Secretary, Susan Lauber, Treasurer, and Marilyn Holt, Student Council Representative. Miss Romine was the head sponsor. The Senior Play, Sabrina Fair was a highlight of the grand finale. The Seniors were the guests of the Juniors at th?highly successful Junior-Senior Banquet and Prom and bowed out of their school activities and studies with commencement, May 29.
