GRLBE SCUTTY GREY Class Sponsor President WMS 029 3 P53 1055 'We Wo Yflxglepvtesiaent at Council ZH S1 X Preseata Hye Senior: Ciaaa The Class of '58 leaped at Dodge City High in i956 as sophomoresl They were lead by a group of great officers: Emilie Mayrath, president, Davis Hughes, vice president, Barbara Wiley, Secretary-treasurer, and Dennis Pebworth, Student council representative. Their sophomore plays, Wednesday Midnight, The Perfect Date, and Hillie Billie Horse, were well accepted. Ronnie Cox was Demon Cheerleader, and Jerry Burks, Judy Love, and Jud Kilgore were Cowboy Cheerleaders. Nancy Mann was a basketball queen attendant, whille Sue Warner and Sandy Wade were spring sports ueen attendants. To lead them to many victories their junior year, :hey elected as officers: Davis Hughes, president, Thayne Lippoldt, vice-president, Karen Gribble, secretary, Patsy Sutton, treasurer, and Wayne Woodworth, student council representative. Sandy Wade was a football ueen attendant, Nancy Mann and Sand Wade were basketball queen attendants, Vena Vvzwittecar was the Floorshow queen, and Judy Kilgore was spring s rts queen. Ronnie Cox and Sandy Wade were Demon Cheerleaders, while Jerry Burks, Juclyo Love, and Judy Kilgore were Cow- boy Cheerleaders. The iunior's presented a fine play, Room for One More. The Class worked very hard to put on one of the best prom's ever. The theme was Song of the South. These proud juniors won the 'ug from the seniors on Demon Day. When-they began tlweir senior year, they were destined to surprise everyone. They were led by President Scotty Grey, Vice-President Mike Milford, Secretary Barbara Wiley, Treasurer Marian Hamilton, and Student Council Representative Dennis Pebworth. Reigning as football queen was Emilie Mayrath, attended by Nancy Mann and Sue Warner. Judy Schweitzer was basketball queen. Marian Hamilton was Floorshow queen, and Wanda Mayfield was an atten- dant. The senior play, Murder Takes the Stage, was presented March l8. The senior picnic was May 20, after Demon Day on May 5. The class of '58 left Dodge City Senior High after their commencement.
