wi Miss Haag Sponsor, and Gary Ernst, Vice-President. Deanna Wagaman, Rowena Snyder, Jeanie Chambers, John Kimhrel President, Secretary, Treasurer. Student Council Representative In 1954 a class of sophomores entered Dodge City Senior High School. This class was destined to reach new heights in popularity and greatness never before reached in Dodge City Senior High. They survived Sophomore Day unscathed and made their debut by presenting three fine sophomore plays-- Feudin', No Television Tonight , and Uninvited Ghost. Class officers that years were President John Kimbrel, Vice-President Larry Burke, Secretary-Treasurer JoAnne Kuhne, and Student Council Representative Barbara English. Dana States and Iris Adrian were attendants to the football queen, and Sherron Skaggs and Virginia Schraeder were attendants to the carnival queen. Dana States and Sherron Skaggs attended the basketball queen, and Jeanie Chambers, Sherron Skaggs, and Lora Lee Epp were attendants to the spring sports queen. Sherron Skaggs and Kay Brumbaugh helped boost the school spirit as Cowboy cheerleaders. In our junior year we were led by President Marylin Hoagland, Vice-President John Kimbrel, Sec- retary Jeanie Chambers, Treasurer Dana States, and Student Council Representative Tim Theis. That year Sherron Skaggs and Iris Adrian sparked the Demon cheerleaders while Marilyn Kline and Donna Harms were Cowboy cheerleaders. Sherron Skaggs, Dora Lee Epp, and Kay Brumbaugh attended the football queen. Marylin Hoagland, Lora Lee Epp, and Sue Gillette were attendanm to the basketball queen. Sue Gillette attended the carnival queen and Jeanie Chambers attended the spring sports queen. The junior play, 'The Babbling Brooks, was well received. The class was' an extremely ambitious one, holding 'Work Days' in order, to earn money for their banquet, which was given with the theme of A Nautical Mirage. We tried hard, but we were unable to wrest the jug from the seniors on Demon Day. As seniors this class gloriously upheld the tradition of humbling the sophomores on Sophomore Day. This year we had the expert guidance of President John Kimbrel, Vice-President Gary Ernst, Secretary Deanna Wagaman, Treasurer Rowona Snyder, and Student Council Representative Jeanie Chambers. Sue Gillette reigned as football queen, with Jeanie Chambers, Barbara English, and Deanna Wagaman as her attendants. Judy Davis and Margie Cobb were attendants to the floorshow queen. Sherron Skaggs was the basketball queen, with Lora Lee Epp and Jeanie Hetzel as her attendants, The mystery play, Hangman's Noose, was presented by an outstanding cast. Demon Day was scheduled for May 6, the senior picnic for May 21, and commencement for May 24. And now-- We press toward the mark ---- QPhillipians 3:14Q Claaa 015 '57 Karen DeBolt, Donna Hopper, Artist Classes Editor. and Typist.
