Baseball and apple pie: two great American pasttimes. The junior varsi- ty team was out to give the students, parents, and themselves that pleasure. The long, strenuous hours of play, practice, and tryouts provided the Mustangs with a united and deter- mined team for a strong spring season. Coach Dave Tarrant explained, “The talents and personalities of the guys were unlimited. With those com- binations, it was definite that the team would have a successful season on the J.C.
