'With the building of the new lVlen's hall has come the Mens House Council. These men are elected by floors, and their juris- diction is entirely within the hall itself. The duties of the House Council are to enforce the regulations of the hall as to quiet hours, care of property, and general conduct of its residents. ' lVIen's hall has a reputation to establish in dormitory eliiciency and conduct. Its House Council is delegated by its residents to assume the responsibility for this reputation. The Council meets once a Week to discuss new regulations, changes, and suggestions for improvement. Page 20

Advisor THE VVomen's Council, consisting of the four house officers, representatives from each class, and a representative from town, is the central governing bc dy for the women on the campus. The four house ofncers are chosen by all the girls in the hall in the pre- ceding springg the representatives are chosen by the respective classes in the fallg and the town representative is chosen by a vote of all the town girls attending college. Meetings are held regularly each week and at any other time that it may seem necessary. The Council has charge of all the discipline in Gaylord hall and considers any other problems concerning the Women which may arise. It works in cooperation with the Dean of VVomen and all decisions are subject to the approval of the Board of Deans. Page I9
