4? crry lNtlson President Rich Lawton Vice Prtsrdent Roger Swanson Sec lrcasurfr enror Class I he Seniors have come a long way from the Forty nme Shades of Green rn the fall of 1956 to Czraduatron Days in the sprrng of 1960 We have struggled with all subpet ts from algebra to typing but none of us would trade the happy days of the past four years Xs frcshmen we elected Ken Rrtterspath Karen Pool and Melissa Reuter our class oHicers We had our hrst encounter with Student Council semester exams extra X an St oy oc was chosen as freshman attendant We were old pros rn helprng the freshmen Oet lost at DHS rn our sophomore year Xnne lxax anaoh and Carolyn Drew were chosen as to secretaries for Student C ouncrl VN e worked extra hard on floats for Homecoming and C arolyn Drew was elected our attendant Lynn Bellows Barbara Crerlach and udy Ixlrne were class ofhcers Homcroom repre scntatry es and alternates picked out class rings Our yunror year brought another Home coming with udy Hughart chosen attendant Barbara Crellach w as treasurer of Student 16 Council Henry Bollman Cllenda Burgard and Susan Van Scoyoc were elected our class ofhcers Spring came, and we soon found our selx es getting ready for our hrst prom South of the Border fhen suddenly we were seniors' VVe soon found out that being 1 senior at DHS was not as easy as it had looked the year before Ken Rrtterspach and Don Sofolo president and vice president ol the Student officers were erry Nelson Rich Lawton, and Roger Swanson Ly nn Bellows reigned as Homecoming queen Xnne Shrppert and C arolyn Drew were senior attendants C hrrst mas came to DHS and Doug Shrppert made a lolly Santa Finally announcements were sent and cards were exchanged Suddenly we could hear the familiar strams of Pomp and C irc umstance We shall never all be together affarn but nerther shall we forget our wonderful happy trmes as the C lass of 1960 X 1 l ia, Lu..
