These services m- clude three phase 440 volt AC and l20 volt DC power, l50 pound steam, Feed and l Fresh water, Navy Standard and diesel oil, and l00 pound low and 3000 pound high pressure air. M Division is composed of Machinist Mates and is responsible For two main engines, Four ships service generators, two distilling plants and associated auxil- iary machinery. B Division is made up of Boilermen and is responsible For the DlXIE's four . Boilers. The lc ' h M D' ' ' ' ' ' y wor wit :vision In the two main machinery spaces. The handling i and storage of Fuel oil is under their cognizance A Division or Auxiliary Gang is composed of Machinist Mates and Enginemen ' and is res on 'bl F ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' p SI e or air conditioning units, mam refrigeration plant, ship's boats, steering engines, Four cranes and heating steam For DIXIE and ships alongside. Shipfitters and Damage Controlmen make up R or Repair Division.
