The DIXIE is a working ship. Twenty-four hours a day, everyday, the DIXIE is working. She is well known as a Q' CAN DO ship. CAN- DO is spelled C-R-E-W, and hers is one of the finest-from the Captain right down the chain-of-command to the newest nonrated boot . On the following pages you will get a glimpse of how she works. It would take several Volumes to properly present the DIXIE's Working Day and would take years to produce.
