Class of '48 Green freshmen aren't so green after all. That statement may seem a little boldl But if you take into consideration the program they put on, which won second place in class program competition, you will understand. The play was written and directed by Johnny Della. The finale was most inspiring. Remember when Johnny and Marjorie Balentine sang My l3uddy ? There were tears in several eyes at that time, Perhaps we were thinking of our buddies who were fighting in this war, to provide us a school in which we could study and have silly little programs. Anyway, it was a very inspiring program. The class sponsored one dance this year, which was one enjoyed by all. lt had one of the largest turnouts of all the dances.
