Others in the cast, con- sisting mainly of juniors, were: Duane Mil- ler, Barbara Chase, Gerald Babcock, Betty Jane Dial, Roy Martin, Joe Martzen, Vir- ginia Hicks and Roberta Phillips. This play was considered one of the best ever pre- sented at Dinuba High. Junior class officers were: President, Allan Weaver, vice president, Ray McMul- len, secretary-treasurer, Margaret Noble. 1944-45 As seniors, the class of '45 ended their high school days successfully. After three years of attending the queen at Military Balls, Lorraine Washburn was crowned queen February 23. Donald Hellbaum and Barbara Chase carried the leads in the Student Body play, Clarence, while Roy Martin, Roberta Phillips, Ray Martin, Donald Beckstead, and Abe Goeringer completed the cast of W0 seniors. The senior class program was presented in March. lt consisted ofa pantomime and special musical numbers. Lorraine Wash- burn and her committee were in charge. lnterclass basketball honors went to the senior girls. Eldon Bowen, Lee Ann Gillen, Bette Burt, Doris Wooley, and Donald Hellbaum earn- ed life memberships in the C.S.F. Other seniors in the society were: Mary Margaret Vetter, Holly Westmoreland, and Beverly Brockman. With the junior-senior prom, baccalaur- eate services June 3, senior breakfast, and finally graduation night June 7, the class of i945 completed their days of activity at Dinuba High.
