FOREVVORD In The Wildcat of 'I956 we have attempted to portray Dillon High School as it is to each of us as a student. In doing this, we chose as our theme, The Mobile . The word mobile, according to Mr. Webster, means characterized by ease of movement, readily expressing changes . This seems typical of the modern school life with its varied and versatile program. On one hand we are serious in preparing ourselves for future years through studies, and on' the other hand we further prepare ourselves by read- ily expressing the change for the well-rou ndecl extra-curricular activities. May you treasure the book as much as we of the staff and, as you turn the pages, we hope that they will spring to life, glowing with fond memories of your school year of 1956.
