Perhaps the boys will have their mitts full trying to parallel the 1954 team that went all the way to the Lower State finals, The 'Cats don't lack power as is evidenced by Bud - dy Moffitt and Sam Faulk, last year's batting kings, Catcher Robert Hamilton will be performing at the plate again while Willie Jackson will be hurling the ball, Johnny Thompson, Dan Hamilton, and Charles Coates round out the veteran infield.

LU TER There are doorways that reflect a feeling of pride in accomplishment and open the way for a brighter future. This particular doorway, though seldom used for passage, is an inspiration and a challenge to students. Plans for the future are born on both sides of its span --the science laboratories inside and the steps with a. guiding light on the outside. 73
