Charles Saleeby Joe Stuart Captains Sam Faulk and Buster Bell get a few pointers from Coaches Ke n Mc Cutche on and Kenneth Epting. The Wildcat eleven came through the 1954 season with a 4-4-1 record, winning the dis- trict championship for the second successive year. Buster Bell and Sam Faulk, Captains, steer- ed the team over the rough spots. Assisting quarterback Joe Stuart in the backfield were halfbacks Dan Hamilton and Robert Hamilton and fullbacks Sam Faulk and Marion Car- michael. Opening the holes for these speedsters were centers Billy Carter and Rudolph Page, guards Buster Bell and James A1ford,tack1es Ken Pitt- man and Doug Blizzard, and ends Gayle Myers and Charles Saleeby.
