LIVING A total education consists not only of book learning, but also of actual experience and participation. Passing from class to club to assembly during the course of the day, students learn to live and to work with fellow classmates and friends. They learn the fundamentals of livingg namely, to cooperate with one another as a member of a group, to participate as responsible individuals in the opportunities afforded them, and to initiate ideas. Dillon High School's typical doorway provides an inletto activities which enlighten students as to the basic tenets ofdemocracy--the de- mocracy which will be their future responsibility to maintain. 39
