,osx 09 qbx C I .Ja Mr. Morris McRae is the instructor of agri classes and the adviser of the FFA. FFA has several projects throughout the year. Aside from running the Coke machine, FFA mem- bers also sold fruit. These projects enabled them to attend various conventions and contests. FFA members raised live- stock, which they entered in the Howard County Fair at Nashville, the 3rd District Livestock Show at Hope, and the State Fair at Little Rock. E w y n ,I Q3 .E lohnny Harville concentrated on his work. What was Betsy Stokes trying to hide? Kim Kirkpatrick worked on a report for Art History. Bruce Pate was extremely proud of his work. It looked as if Lance Sharp was working hard. The results of hard work by art students was on display m the library Mrs. Turner displayed her work on her door. Anyone who has taken art knows that it is a great class. Stu- dents learn how to draw, paint, carve wood, and they also get to talk, unlike most of the classes. Mrs. Turner entered student paintings in the Howard COUH3' Fair. lon Dowdy, Beverly War , Tammy Bagley, and Shane Moore were just a few who placed. My favorite part of art is painting, said Kim Kirkpatrick. Greg Seale said he liked drawing the best and art gave him a sense of accorzplishment. Shane Moore sai his favorite part was the teacher. Mrs. Turner is the best, he said. It doesn 't matter if a person has two left thumbs, Mrs. Turner will teach him how to make beautiful works of art. It seems everyone enjoys art. 74 Academics qv A B
