The Superbowl was won by the New York Giants, the first anniversary of the Challenger tragedy was remembered, more hostages were taken and released in the Middle East, and the U. S. brought back the America 's Cup. All these events were memorable and Emotional, but for a class from a small town in Arkansas, the most remembered event of 1987 has yet to Q. appen. a On May 28, thirteen years of hard work and dedication will pay off. Thirty students dressed in blue and white caps and gowns will walk the aisle of the D. H. S. auditorium. Proud parents will smile as their senior will seat himself among friends and classmates for the last time. Throughout the ceremony, cherished memories of the years at Dierks High will be in the minds of each senior. At one time graduation seemed so far away, but soon it will all be over. Diplomas will be accepted and the school song will be sung one last time. With teary eyes, our seniors will begin that long walk back up the aisle to face their futures. When they congregate in front of the auditorium after graduation, we hope their memories of the past are pleasant ones as they take ONE LAST LOOK. Seniors were reminded of kindergarten days as they visited with Miss Brinda and Miss Linda. 176 Closing
