uv L Sixth grade band performed at the pep rally. Elementary shows School Spirit During the week of November 3-7, the elementary school held their first spirit week under the direction of Mrs. Hill. Several events were planned for the week in- cluding Hats Off to the Outlaws Day in which hats were worn to show their spirit. An outstanding amount of spir- it was shown on Hug an Outlaw and Respect a Teacher Day. Kevin Archer showed his spirit by-winning the Hug an Outlaw award. Sign Day was a big success. Some of the signs that were made were transferred to the high school to be displayed for the Outlaw players. Blue and White Day ended a week of spirit with students sporting around in good ole ' Blue and White. Great job, Elemen- tary. Grade schoolers show spirit as they sing the school song. 5 , . Many grandparents attended the elementary school to participate in the les- Elementary 117 tivitles on Grandparent Day.

Pee Wees Were Good Sports Narissa Mounts was the 1986-87 Pee Wee Queen. She earned that honor by selling chances on a shotgun. She sold a total of seventy-one chances. Debbie Reel was in charge of all the Pee Wee activities. Congratulations on a fob well done. Scarlett Grady, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Grady and Darby lcenhower, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Danny lcenho wer were honored as Halloween King and Queen at the carnival on October 25. Scarlett and Darby represented Mrs. Stokes' second grade. All the room representatives were chosen by their fellow students to represent each class in the carnival sponsored by the Dierks P. T. A.
