,.f5Q . ,, , ,,. 4 . i r2 g The Student Council tried to raise school spirit this year. As in the past, they sponsored spirit week. Each day gave students an opportunity to show the Outlaws they supported them by dressing up in the required garb. Each class participated in a contest to see which grade had the most supportive Outlaw fans. The senior class barely nosed out the juniors for the number one spot. The Student Council also bought a bulletin board for the hall which is used to announce school events. Keeping the campus clean and unlittered is another accomplishment of the Council. It is an honor to be selected to the Student Coun- cil. Officers were selected by the student body who voted on the candidates after a week of campaigning and speech making. Mrs. Cox, the Student Council adviser, was al- ways busy trying to help the students of D. H. S. be the best they could be. Mrs. Cox gets ready for the next class. Many students participated in Student Council elections. To be chosen as a member of National Honor Society is one of the highest honors at D.H.S. A student has to have a 3.00 grade average to be nominated. Then wg, M 2' -,,,5. These babes were inducted into the National Honor Society.
