LCDR LAWRENCE A. MORRISON USN 10 DECEMBER 1973 - LCDR MORRISON is a native of Arlington, Virginia from where he enlisted in the U. S. Naval Reserve. He participated in the Reserve Officer Candidate Program while attending George Washington University. He graduated in February of 1960 and was commissioned in March of that year. He reported to his first ship, the USS PRESTON IDD-795j while deployed to the Far East. During that tour, LCDR MORRISON served as First Lieutenant, ASW Officer, Gunnery Assistant, and Gunnery Officer. In April 1963, he was released from active duty and attended law school at George Washington until his return to active duty in August of 1964. He continued his legal education at night while serving with the Naval Command Systems Support Activity in Washington, D. C. LCDR MORRISON returned to sea in December of 1965 reporting as Weapons Officer of USS BARTON KDD-7221. After an eighteen month tour'on the BARTON, he was detached to serve as Senior Advisor to River Assault 24 of the Vietnamese Navy. He Served in Vietnam One Year before returning to the Washington area in the fall of 1968 for duty in the Bureau of Naval Personnel as head of the Southeast Asia Policy and Reassignment Unit of the Enlisted DiStfibU'Ci0I1 Branch. While at the Bureau, LCDR MORRISON completed law School and became 2 member of the bar of the state of Virginia. LCDR MORRISON left W3ShiUgton to attend the School of Naval Command and Staff at the U. S. Naval War College. He graduated in 1970 and reported for duty as Operations Officer of USS HARRY E. YARNELL KDLG-172 where he served until February of 1973. Following a short tour with Staff of Commander Cruiser-Destroyer Group TWO, he reported in December 1973 as Ex- ecutive Officer of the DEWEY. V LCDR MORRISON is married to the former Antonieta GEDEON of Salvador, Brazil. They have a daughter, Mary Hardy.

COMDESR UN TWE CAPTR. A. DALLA MURA, USN 17AUGUST1973 - Captain DALLA MURA was commissioned in 1951 upon graduation from the U. S. Naval Academy. His first assignment was aboard the USS SALERNO BAY KCVE-1I0j. Subsequent tours at sea have in- cluded duty onboard the USS REDHEAD KAMS-34j, the USS MCDERMUT KDD-677j, and in com- mand of USSSWALLOW fAMS536j, USS THRUSH KMSC-204j, USS IMPERVIOUS KMSO-4492, USS VAN VOORHIS KDE-I028j, and USS STRONG KDD-758j. Ashore .Captain DALLA MURA has served on the faculty at the Naval Academy, in the Bureau of Naval Personnel, with the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and on the Staff of Commander Cruiser-Destroyer Force, Atlantic. , I He is married to the former Emily Figg of Charleston, South Carolina. They have a married daughter, Mrs. Sallie Fox.
