Lynn Winter and Bob Moe were outstanding all year long in pacing the red- men to the second post in Regional and District meets, the Lake Region Relays, the Otter Relays, the Dragon Relays, and a third place in the Sioux Relays. Both Moe and Winter competed in the state meet where Moe picked up points in the low hurdles and the high lump. Winter, the most valuable player, won the shot put and discus in the district meet, He also won the shot and placed second in the discus at the regional meet. This year, Marlowe Davidson replaces Urban Bene- wicz as coach and faces a rebuilding job alter the departure ot six senior lettermen.The bright spot in the coming year will be the experience and potential of the weight men.
