Clubs Rocket to Success Debate Learning poise, economics, and oratory is the goal of the DLHS debate squad. Under the guidance of Mr. Johansson, members have been debating the resolution: That the federal govern- ment should sustain the prices of major agricultural pro- ducts at not less than 90 per cent ot parity. This team took part in debate clinics throughout Minnesota including the regional tournament in Moor- head. Debate is an activity which can be developed into valuable knowledge to be used in chosen, specialized fields. Business Club Business Club is organized to study business activ- ities, to promote good relationship between the business students and the businessmen of Detroit Lakes, and to develop an understanding ct current business altairs. Some ot the activities being conducted this year are field trips to downtown oltlces, and assisting the school ottlce and faculty members in typing and stenciling.
