Lee keep library in orderly fashion Club Aids Library Club is an essential function of our school. Under the supervision of Miss Ulven, the librarian, the library club members spend many hours keeping our books centered by means of the Dewey Decimal Sys- tem. Each member spends one hour a week at the check-out desk, while the other members prepare an attractive bulletin board to interest students in reading. Collins, .l. lusty. l'.ll Ll bra rua n will aid them in their class work as well as outside read- ing to provide entertainment. Other duties include arranging books and magazines, filing cards, and keeping things in good order for students who use the library. ln the future their knowledge of library work will prove essential. Guests Welcomed with a Smile Of great service to the other organizations within the school as well as the numerous civic clubs within the city is the Ushers Club, Under the leadership of advisors Mr. Simson and Mr. Bowman and the pres- ident Sonia Seaberg, membership in this exclusive or- ganization is open to all senior high girls. This organization provides girls to maintain a coat check at all home basketball games and ushers for the many local programs held within the school. This year Ushers Club also provided a team ot workers for the ROW l: Mr, Simson, M. Wiggins, S. Seaberg, S. Huntley, Mr, Bow- man. ROW ll: J. Clark, E. Ziegler, J, Johnson, E. Glawe, A. Rice, R. Samdahl, J. Erickson, S. Myhre, M. Runger, J. Stillings, B. Samp- son. ROW Ill: D. Christensen, D. Hoge, J. Olson, V. Thorpe, R. Zurn P. Odland, L. Erickson, D. Larson, R. Sanders, G. Stoen, E. Wetsch. local branch of the national Get-out-and-vote cam paign. As a reward for the year's eltorts, club members are given free bus tickets to the district basketball tourna- ments. The annual spring picnic provides an ideal clos- ing tothe year. Learning to be a gracious hostess and enjoying their responsibilities are assets gained in Ushers Club, which will be useful to all its members as lite unfolds upon new horizons, ROW IV: J.
