Today more than ever in the past, extra curricular activities constitute a larger part of school lite. Music, commercial, drama, sports, and journalism are some at the fields of endeavor open, The more ambitious sopho- mores are given plenty of chance for leadership and to develop their personalities through cooperative work and responsibilities. Scholastic opportunities are also opened for sophomores. Leading the lists of elective courses are geometry, biology, shop, typing and home economics. These elective courses help prepare the sophomores tor future vocations and further training in high school and ,ws , .Q-., 54 .+- T ,I 4 5415 7 ANN? ew-J CQROLCZ7 aw' ' 5 President C. Grossman, Vice President J. Halseth, Secretary J, Olson catch up on latest happenings. Find New Opportunities college. Copying and mixing with the older students seem to be the favorite pastime ot the sophomores. From them they acquire new ideas in everything from improving their class and social activities to getting into trouble. The sophomore girls also have found new importance in providing amusement for the senior boys. The sophomores are dehnitely on a stepping stone tc success in high school, both in curricular and extra curricular activities, and it is a year of building in char- acter, leadership and interest as they find themselves with unlimited opportunities to better themselves in acti- vities which they like and are able to do.
