CIC provides the organized collection, dis- play, competent evaluation and rapid dissemination of tactical information and intel- ligence to command and control stations. CIC is respon- sible for keeping the Conn advised at ail times of the current tactical situation, whether the Conn be the OOD, JOOD, or the Captain.
