Scatd ctf education The School Board The school board of Derry Township is a group of highly respectable citizens elected for a term of six years by the people of this community. To be on the school board, one must have a good moral character, be twenty-one years or more of age, and one must have been a resident of this district for at least one year prior to the date of one's election or appointment. These men lay plans for the erecting of new buildings, the repair of buildings already in use, the installation of furnaces and water systems into schools and many other things. Above all, it is their duty to balance the budget and keep Derry Township's affairs running smoothly. The men on the school board try to do their best for the township and are always grateful for suggestions from the people they represent. r j Mr. Kcstner, Mr. Kisl—President, Mr. Cobes—Vice President, Mr. Stemmier Seated (•■ .—Mr. Shaw—Secretary, Non-membor, Mr. Krinock, Mr. Waggle, Mr. Short Standing ( • 9
