guided 0 earning l I MISS MCCHESNEY-No student who has ever sat in her classes will ever forget her kindness, perseverance, patience, and helpfulness. The world could use more teachers of her capabilities. MISS NAKLES-lt gives us a lift just to receive her pleasant smile. lt takes someone like her to lead us through a maze of financial intricacies and come out at the end of the year in the blue. MISS NICOL-Students who work with her will always remember her as a friendly guide who showed them that kindness, tolerance, and friendly words of advice will always win friends and gain the confidence of others. MR. ONDREY-lf any man deserves a real tribute for service to our school, that man is Joe Ondrey. l le seems to be everywhere at once, doing things for everyone. Sound equipment, lighting arrangements, desk adjust- ments, window blind springs, stage equipment-just call on Joe! MRS. PILATO-She has what it takes to get her subject across. l-ler classes are interesting, her discipline strong, her character truly an incentive to make students appreciate the value of learning. MR. STRUBLE-l-las done nobly in leading this young generation on the broad road of democratic living. He has faithfully given of his service, taken in the field of sports. His is truly a big job well done. MR. STUMP-l-las a remarkable insight into human nature. l-lis classes are inspiring, his personality appealing, and his example is one of perfection, because he applies this gift of perception to his students, who think he is tops. sf MISS TUHOVAK-A blonde dynamo of energy, whose personality reaches out to touch every phase of student activities. She has that rare gift of getting along with folks and remedying difficult situations. She is adept at meeting people with varied personalities. MR. URCH-Quiet, understanding, and capable. Ready and willing to help his students with difficult problems. l-las an extensive practical experience with chemistry and a working knowledge of physics behind him. MISS WlLLlAMS-A soft spoken young woman who quietly and efficiently molds career men and women. l-ler students are greenies in the art of shorthand and typing and it takes just such a person with her tact and skill to' give them a proper start in the business world.

MR. BARRON-Our handsome, friendly, and cheerful veteran. l-lis students think there's no one who can com- pare. Keeps his classes on the go. Mighty classy performer with a basketball, especially against the varsity. MRS. BAUMGARDNER-To her patience and talent we owe much. She is not only a great teacher but has shown her cooperative spirit in helping keep our band together. Our drum maior, majorettes, and cheerleaders are products of intense and persevering leadership. Our gratitude to Mrs. Baumgardner. MR. CAPUTO-ls in complete mastery of his subject. Latin will never be a dead language with him at the helm. l-lis students, too, admire him for his patience and sympathy which spells success in any language. MR. CONTI-We can not say too much in praise of Mr. Conti, who gives not only of his time, his patience, his energy, but also a' great deal of himself to his boys. l-le is much, much more than a coach, he is a builder of character -and of men. MR. COCK--One of the Township four who have re- turned from the service to teach. During his absence of three years, the students missed his genial personality and musical talent. There's never a dull moment in his classes. MR. EDMUNDS-Ever hear of Augie? Mr. Edmunds is our publicity man, and D. T. wouldn't be D. RT. without him. l-le is a great person, and we all depend on his wit and cleverness to keep us on the map, for he has already put us there. MR. FINK-l-las newly come to us, but has proved that he possesses the fine qualities of tact and intelligence. l-'le has made a host of friends, and has a great following even at this early stage of the game. Music is the boon of his existence. MISS JOHNSON-Miss Johnson came to us last year and has already won a place in the hearts of students and faculty alike. Wise, firm, quiet, fair, understanding and diligent she has proved an excellent teacher and a real friend to her students. 4 MlSS KASPERIK-She really holds the keys to knowledge. She has every qualification that makes for expert execution of duties. She has that queenly bearing, too, that speaks for a charm and radiance that her students can not fail to recognize. MR. KURTZ-An excellent disciplinarian and consci- entious instructor is Mr. Kurtz, our returned head coach, and math teacher. l-lis term of service in the Navy, as an officer, should make him command even greater respect. These are only several ol the numerous taslcs that confront this hard-worlcing, clear-thinlcing group. We realize the gigantic job that they lace and we as the youth ol today and the citizens of tomorrow, are gratefully and willingly trying to cooperate with them in order that theirs will be a more enjoyable task.
