Victory moves in for Panthers For the first time in many years, the boys basketball team brought home an Ark Val- ley League Championship. Coach Del Heidebrecht stated. The attitude shown on and off the court by the players was an asset to their league cham- pionship. The team captured second place honors at the Wichita South Tournament. This was a definite turning point for the team. They gained momentum and confidence from the tour- nament. which was a plus to- ward the rest of the season. said Coach Heidebrecht. The team capped their sea- son off by winning the Sub- State tournament, and also taking fourth place at the State tournament.
