Fa!LAotw1ties From the first bright flames of the bonfire to the last dance, Homecoming was the highlight of fall activities. Spirit for the game was aroused as students gathered for the first of the activities, the bonfire. Halls and loclters, decorated by Student Council members and cheerleaders, cast a happy shadow over the big day. The assembly featured a program of varied talent presented by Denton High students. A parade, consisting of cars and floats decorated by various organizations, circled the square and main streets of Denton. Pre-game activities included the presentation of Homecoming Queen nominees, Betty Brinkman, Linda Fulton, Ruth Martin, and Gale Reeves. Then the big moment for one of these girls arrived, Linda Fulton was crowned Homecoming Queen for '63, Bronco Wonderland, the theme of this year's dance, came alive as The Misfits started the dance with a lively number. One large wilted mum, tired feet, and a loosened tie put the final touches on the best Homecoming ever seen at Denton High School.
