PROPHECY Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen! This is Jim Shepherd coming to you over Station DHS in Dennison, Ohio. Yes, this is a great day. It is the day of the 45rd annual football game between Dennison and Uhrichsville. This game has come to be an event of nation wide interest. Naturally, on a great day such as this, we have a great many celebreties among us, whom I will introduce to you during the course of the game. The Dennison team this year has a new coach. He is none other than Don Wright, an alumnus of Dennison High School. Don has been doing a splendid Job this year so we have great hopes for the team. We have several visiting bands here this year. A- mong them is the Ohio-All-Girl Band with Marilyn Rizor as head majorette. The Dennison Band this year is directed by Edythe Sterling. Zoom! There are a couple of planes buzzing and cir- cling the stadium. These planes are piloted by Harold Polen and Bill Valentine, also alumni of Dennison. This is really the game of the year and anything might happen so all preparations are on hand. The ambu- lance is at the end of the field and Dr. Carl Case has his three nurses, Marjorie Bache, Mrs. Donna Polen Zay, and Mrs. Joanne Behling Heddleston. No one is going to go hungry at this game--no sir, not with Dick Mico and his atomic pop corn machines on h and. However, he will have a little competition from the Branch Pretzel Stand which belongs to Bonnie Branch. We have some very busy news reporters pushing away at their pencils. There is Lillian Sikora, reporter for the Dennison Gazette, the newspaper that is published every morning and evening and owned by Mary McCluskey. Coming up to the broadcasting booth are two former Dennison Football stars, Jack Aldergate and 'Chris' Sag- gio. Jack and 'Chris' are now playing with the Cleveland Browns. Incidentally, referees for this game are Sam Fausto and Walter Eberly. ' Now, before this exciting game begins, I have been asked to extend thanks to the following individuals and organizations for their help and patronage given the teamg The George Case Trucking Co., The Wise-Gold School of Singing, Cthis school is operated by Barbara Wise Plotts and Arlene Gold Hodkinsonl The Weaver Beauty Salon. We interrupt you now to hear a few words from radio comedienne Janice Witting Cable, and her bookkeeper and moneykeeper, Janice Clantz Riley and Janice Reiser. Oh, you say you must go because you are having a hen session with Darleen Blake and Barbara Trimmer. 0.K. These two, being telephone operators, would naturally have a lot to say. Also, ladies and gentlemen, after the game there are a variety of eating places, for instance, the Peter Paul, owned by Jim Spinell, the Parker House of Fine Foods, owned by Doris Parker, the Finnicum-Fisher French Fry Spot and Gent111n1's Spaghetti House. You can't go wrong by any of them folks. 22
