As in the past. most of the sehools prohlems were hrought up in the meetings and dealt with taetfully and sum-essfully. Also the welfare collections, snr-h as the Community Chest and Heart Fund, were taken through the home room representatives. Speeial projeets ineluded a safety play, the alumni basketball game, dances. the honfire, 'llag Day lwhieh provided happiness and contentment for I2 needy families in the form of a Christmas dinnerl and the magazine drive. A week filled with magazines, money and madness ended in a last minute rush of orders surpassing the goal of 555.500 and bringing the grand total up to S6lll9.f5l. With the eo-operation of the students and Miss Hall and the rest ol the faeulty, the Pyramid has helped to make our sehool at lvelter one,

II ez I4 O ll The Girls' Cluh got olf right on time with the Sophomore 'llea August 29. Soon afterward the theme 'tlVlusic-0 was de- eided upon and at our first Rehearsal the girls het-anne ae- qnaintefl with our theme song. g'Let's Harmonizef' A week later the Big and Little Sisters went for a l ienie in the l ark. and on Marc-h -1. we had a coke party. We girls were a very speeial group. as we sponsored two dam,-es--one on Uetoher ISI. and another. Fehruary' ll. The money raised on the first danee was given to the a eappella for new rohes. At Christmas time we sponsored a party for underprivileged lmoys and girls. while the Red Cross group made favors lor the trays in hospitals. January 22 was our hig hanquet with turkey and all the trinnnings. The next day we had a ehanee to exereise. as it was Wiinter Sports Day at Chester llowl. The hig projeet. ol eourseq was the operelta. The Fortune Teller. hy Vit-tor llerhert. presented on April 9 and ltl. Uur aetivities. however. did not end with that.
