When the lights go off in lO2, the Movie Operators do their stuff. They show the Denfeld student body many interesting and educational films under the direc- tion of Mr. Wayne Brittan. Through the efforts of the Art Service group, Den- feld's bulletin boards sparkle with color from many posters. Their work is supervised by Mrs. Genevieve Eby. The Denfeld School Supplies Association, the D.S.S.A., works under the direction of Mr. Ulrik Reque. The girls behind the counter sell pencils and paper along with many other useful things. A new speed graphic, a darkroom and all that goes with it have made the Camera Club one of Denteld's most useful organizations. The camera may be used by any group in school, but the pictures must be taken by a club member. Ken Moran, Clarence Trushenski, and Mr. Henry Rood, adviser, have spent many hours on photography, for both Oracle and Criterion have made good use of the camera. The Chess enthusiasts met on Thursdays and under the tutelage of Mr. Ulrik Reque, learned through experience to play a better game. The Hi-Y has been headed for the past year by Merton Olson. The club's adviser is Mr. Henry Rood. The club played its traditional basketball game against the faculty on January 26. Unfortunately they were unable to overcome the fast-stepping faculty. The Hi-Y had a Fun nite and splash parties. CAMERA CLUB Hi-Y 28 f 1 l K , 5. QA. Q' 4 O , sun' CHESS CLUB CAMERA CLUB: Lilli Larsen, Bill Lund- gren, Roger Morris.
