Everyone that goes to Denfeld and that makes It the largest organ: zatlon IH the school It provides the pep and enthusl asm behind our athletc teams Mary Ellen Deutsch along wtth her energetuc board of twelve g rls has really accomplished a great deal under the adviser ship of Mass Dorothy Johnson The Power Club has charge of two affairs during the year The flrst of these was the annual Maroon and Gold Day The other was Homecoming Held durmg basketball season It was highlighted by an amusing assembly After the game with Morgan Park a dance was held In the gym lt was at this dance that the Homecoming kung was crowned and the Power Club board saw the results of a hard 'ob well done Each year to cover many expenditures the club sells Christmas cards The club also sponsored several dances during the school year Since most of these were after games they were not dress up affanrs The Power Club also has charge of all the pep assemblies which are held In school Several of these were held In the gym this year and were termed a success by all
