The fall of 38 saw the class enter Denfeld as sophomores The hustle and bustle in the halls the hugeness of the building the efficiency of the faculty and the dignity of the other students all combined to bewilder the members of the class The first few months were difficult but under the guidance of Mr Spencer all the obstacles were overcome Through orientation meetings the class members were assisted in making out three year courses Ray Grafstrom Connie Lundquist and Yvonne Mork were the representatives elected by us There were social hours conducted to instruct us an ballroom etiquette so that when our party rally was held on April Zl we were able to present ourselves as first class citizens --5, 'QI
